Sixteen Top New England Baseball Clubs Form Premier Baseball Conference

Posted by Evan Burnett on August 17, 2019 at 6:00 PM

Wilmington, MA – Aug 17, 2019 – Sixteen of the top baseball clubs in New England will come together to form the Premier Baseball Conference, which will feature more than 200 teams between the ages between the ages of 9 and 18. Clubs will span from Cape Cod to Maine, and include New England’s top club owners and coaches. Play will begin in the Spring of 2020.

The Premier Baseball Conference (PBC) will not only have premier competition, it will also focus on development and growing and promoting the game. The PBC has been created as an exclusive league for those who have been identified as the top programs in the region.

“The PBC will provide our clubs a platform to compete and develop players at the highest level and offer a first-class postseason experience at New England’s finest venues,” said PBC commissioner Pat Mason, a former head coach at Virginia Tech who has more than 20 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level. “We’re excited to help grow the game with some of the best clubs, coaches and players in the region.”

Premier Conference Members include: Northeast Hurricanes, Seacoast United, Nokona Baseball, Show Baseball, Mass Hurricanes, TC Kings, Maine Lightning, Nor’Easters, East Coast Eagles, Jr. Spinners, Team Boston, Dugout Dawgs, Jr. Bay Sox, NE Gators, Giants Futures and Mizuno Northeast Runbirds.

“This is an exciting and important time in youth baseball,” said Mason. “We’re thrilled to be able to bring the best players and clubs together in a one-of-a-kind  league.”
